Wings Trust is an abstinence based residential support service for men and women in recovery from addiction.  The service consists of six houses and an office in central Auckland, New Zealand, with five staff providing pre and post treatment support for a period of up to 4 months negotiable. There is an emphasis on 12 step based recovery. The service provides an introduction to treatment and a safe place to be for clients planning to enter intensive residential treatment. Wings Trust also provides a seamless transition back to the wider community for those clients exiting such programmes.

Wings Trust currently provides housing for up to 36 male and female clients. Wings Trust employs an Executive Trustee, Manager, four DAPAANZ / NZAC  registered clinicians and an Administration Officer. A Board of Trustees are responsible for the governance of Wings Trust Wings Trust maintains close professional relationships with other AOD treatment providers in the Auckland/Northland catchment area

Wings Trust staff

Client Support Wings Trust counsellors will actively support clients who have court appearances, CYF group conferences, medical/mental health specialist appointments, WINZ and Housing New Zealand appointments wherever necessary at a clients request.

Wings residential support houses

All Wings houses are registered with Health and Disability Services and comply with Fire Safety regulations. Wings Trust has also been audited against the following standards and has been certified by the Ministry of Health NZ Standard Health and Disability Sector NZ Standard National Mental Health Sector NZ Standard Infection Control Standard NZ Standard Restraint Minimisation and Safe Practice Wings Trust has a regional contract with the ADHB is audited against this.
